Hello members,
Iam the elder son in my family and I have a younger brother.
My brother takes care of our parents in chennai and Iam in the USA. My father expired recently. I understand he has left no will.
Recently my brother asked my sign a 'Release Deed' document, so that our house in Chennai can be registered in my mother's name (from my father's name)
I have no intention to split the property and ask for my share.
What I would like to know is the implications of me signing this document. I dont want my brother to do things his own way and have the house in his name.
Please help.
