Dear lawyers, advocates and experts
My grandfather around 1940 purchased a property.he had 3 sons and 2 daughters all of which are married.
My grandfather died.
Only 2 sons are remaining the rest of the children have died.
One of his son is living in the Punjab occupying my grandfather's property the other is living abroad.
Please help with the following:
a) how will the property is to be divided. Can the two sons share the entire property?
b) will the son living abroad get his share even though he's not living in the property?
c) because the grandfather has died the property papers are not with any of his sons. How can they get the property papers?
d) can the remaining two sons make a sale?
e) if the son living in the grandfathers property does not want to move out or does not want to sell the property can the other son living abroad force a sale?
f) if the son living abroad wants his share off the property how can that be achieved?
Please advise as to how this can be achieved.
I would like to thank every person who has contributed.
