Property distribution

Hi experts,

My Grandfather died an year ago. He had two wives.
First Wife has two sons and one daughter. My father is Second son of my grandfather's first wife.
Granfather's second wife has two sons and two daughters.
In the "will" he written, all his property to be shared by his second wife's sons.
But my father and his elder brother has to share their granfather's property (f/o my grandfather).
The whole property was not equally distributed. Large share to be given to second wife's sons,a part of it to be shared by my father and his brother, like that he written the will.

Granfather's second wife's sons are now saying, we have no rights to claim the property. because it should be claimed with in 100 days, after grandfather's death.

Can you tell me what is the probability of getting the share and how to approach to get equal share?
