I got selected in a gov job, my police verification has come to my native, presently i am 2000km from home.. I would like to know
1. Is candidate necessary for verification?
2. What is the procedure, police has to do?

for verification the actual candidate is not needed but police person will verify you whereabout and the withness whom you had given on the application and will take there signatures
