Police Verifaction ( Character and Anchester report )

Dear Sir / madam I have joined in A PSU of Govt of India. According to the DAE policy they have taken SSQ forms filled up and send them to local police, IB etc for verification purpose. The concerned authority came to my house and verified everything but the local police did not submit the report to collector office and then DAE - the employer. Its now almost 1 yr passed since the police came to my house. Now i am afraid that my probation period will be get extended and i will not avail some privileges. I cannot go to police station because someone advised me that according to law i can't go there as that may figure me as an influencing person. How can i solve this problem without any bribe ?? You need not worry.The police verification ought to have been obtained before issuing appoinment order.Noe you have completed one year service and nearing completion of yopur probation period.You forget about the verification.Non sending of varifivc=cation report will in no way affect you.
