Police supports false case and can arrest who r in abroad?

A person compliant about a person who are in abroad. In such case, police is supporting the local person and trying to catch the person who are in abroad by releasing arrest warrent. But police also knows that is a false compliant but they think to do support the local person.

Neither police nor accused is  competent to decide whether it is a false case or not.  The duty of the police is to investigate/catch the accused and bring him before the coourt for the trial.  The court will decide whether  it is a false case or not.

Arrest in abroad is not an easy task, if a person who is indian is accused of an offence lived in abroad then if there is any extradition Treaty with that country then the police have to follow the rules of that treat after that the arrest can be executed otherwise not.

feel free to call

False complaint is filed police will not proceed further after preliminary investigation and Accused has right under law to file Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. or W.P. under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to quash First Information Report.
