Poa--which district registrar has to validate it?

House property located in District 'X'.  Owner executes POA  abroad in favour of Mr. A to sell the property. Mr. A resides in District 'Y'.  Whether the POA has to be got validated in the District Registrar office of District 'X' or District 'Y'?

Dear sir,

If POA is issued for property it will be valid for that particular property.

First ensure that the POA is properly stamped, executed and sanctity of legal validity by consulting experts and as to whether the principal is having bonafide title with original and link documents.

The power of attorney deed has to be adjudicated in the place where the property is situated, i.e., X in this this case.

The document of attorney has to be attested by attorney/ High commission/ Emabassee where the executant is located, subsequently it has to be attested by area SDM where property is situated, i.e., "X" in this case, if it is a true story and not an examination hall question paper.

It is advisable to consult a local prudent lawyer for better appreciation of facts/ documents for professional guidance and proceeding.

Thank you Sir. It is a true story and not an examination question.
