1) Regarding FIR please ask your lawyer to call status report. 2) Regarding maintenance case if the respondent is wilfully avoiding appearance before the court, your lawyer can press for initiation of exparte proceedings and attachment of property of ur sister's husband. Also if ur sister's husband is working his salary can be attached and maintenance paid to ut sistet n child
