Place of executing a will

Dear Friends,

Need clarification on place of execution of Will.

'A' owns property in one state of India but is a permanent resident of a different state in India. 'A' intends to make a will bequeating his properties to his minor children.

Please advise if the Will has to be registered where the property is situated or is it acceptable if the Will is registered where the executor of Will resides.
