All those participated in the discussion were beating around the bush. EPF is a statutory contribution. It is to be deducted from wages. wages means basic and DA. Employers are supposed to pay MW notified by the appropriate govt. The employer has the right to pay any other allowences other than wages to motivate the employees. Those allowences are not covered under the term wages under PF Act.

How can we calculate PF for daily wages labour.E.g:-If any labour daily wages is Rs200 and he works for 20 days and make overtime 40hrs then that will the pf amount for this labour,and what will be amount in A/c1,2.10,21&22.
