Personal loan default

I have Personal Loans (Loan on Credit Card) from a reputed Bank. I am paying my EMI’s regularly.Due to loss of Job I am under pressure, Though I have sufficient fund to pay for next 3 Months. I want to defer my EMI’s for 1 year till April 2017. My question is: 1. If I approach bank Will the Bank agree to my request. 2. These were unsecured loans. If I default on my EMI what action bank can take. Can they go to court. Please note I issued no Post Dated cheques. All EMI’s are billed to my monthly credit card statement. 3.Can Bank sell my Debt to 3rd party and they in turn go to court. I have good standing with the bank. I took personal loan in past which I paid, I took car loan which I also paid and I also pay my credit card spend in 100% before time.

You have borrowed and hence you should pay.

As per contractual terms, Bank can act.
