Hindu family with total 4 family members.
Family members details (1.Father, 2 mother, 3 Elder son, 4 younger son). All are living no one deceased or nothing happened all 4 family members are living now together.
We have 4 acres of ancestral land. How 4 acres will be devolved or distributed between Father, 2 mother, 3 Elder son, 4 younger son ?

As it is an ancestral property, so your father, yourself and your brother are having equal rights over the ancestral property. When a husband is alive, wife has no interest in the ancestral property.

It is believed that it ancestral property from Paternal side.
Property from mother’s side is not ancestral.
