Parallel Proceedings

Wife has previously instituted a suit for divorce, maintenance and custody of child. In the divorce case she has also filed separate applications for interim maintenance and custody. Can the wife subsequently file an application under section 12 of PWDV Act for maintenance and custody? Essentially can wife start parallel proceedings for the very same reliefs and pursue then simultaneously? Need judgments.
