I am staying in pagdi rented home for more than 15 years. My father is the owner of the flat. Recently our buiding was redeveloped. Before redevelopment we were paying rs.200 as our rental and after redevelopment our Owner is demanding 500RS as monthly rental.I would like to ask you
- Is it legal to increase rent
- Secondly he is pressurising us to pay otherwise he will not give the new agreement.
- And suggesting to leave the room if not feasible.
Are we really helpless regarding this issue.
