Obc category criteria

I want to get clarification on my eligibility for OBC non-creamy layer status. 

Caste wise I belong to the OBC category. However my main concern is reg the non-creamy status. 

My father is an ex-servicemen. He joined as a Grade D airman and while completing his tenure was promoted to grade C. My mother is Head of the Dept in a government aided college. She started as a lecturer and was promoted to the post of Professor only after 42 years of age. 

Together their current salaries have cross Rs. 8L per annum continuously for the past 3 years.
