not giving back the post dated cheques after completion

Respected Sir,

I have borrowed some money from one person and paid interest for the same for 3 years,while borrowing i have mortaged my property to him.after my business loss i couldnt repay the money,so i cancelled the mortgauge and given a sale deed the same property to him.but the person still not given back my cheques.

Please advise me what to do legally.

Give him a legal notice describing all the facts and demand the cheques back from him.

Notice has limited use since it will take your life time to persue civil cases coming out of it.

Contact an expert criminal advocate and file criminal complaint for cheating, extortion and and and ..........can not be emplained on this pulbic site and he will be all right.
