no documents

sir, I have a house by ancestral in village. It was demolished recently.I paid house tax until demolished.Now no more my father and grand fathers.I sold that recently. Extent is less and somebody alleged purchaser objecting on my land and another is encroached my land partially and constructed house.In that area no survey number and records of land. what can I do to gain my land ?
