Hi,
I am resident of maharashtra & got married at my native place which is in Maharashtra. I have Marrige certificae from gram Panchayat where i get married. I live in Navi Mumbai & thats why do i need to reregister at Municiple office (Navi Mumbai) for adding my wife name in Ration Card & to Register a Gas.

u can register the marriage at local registrar of marriages of ur area.
no separate registration at Mumbai is required.

It can be registered at any place where the parties are residing for last six months
