The name of my son in birth-certificate is different from what I filled in the registration-form submitted to the municipality. I registered his birth in 2009 and got a birth-certificate without name. I got his birth-certificate with name in 2011. The problem is minor and is related to the surname of my son. I wanted his name as Abhimanyu Singh 'Chhoker' but they put it as Abhimanyu Singh 'Chhonker'. The birth certificate is in Hindi so the difference is only in the dot which indicate half 'n' in Hindi. Will it get corrected if I apply again now as the mistake was done by the municipality or I have to live with the error? Will it create problem in future for my son? I am really worried. Please help.
