Dear Sir,
One of my friend, bought An Agricultural Land in Vadodra, some years back, though he was not a Farmer at that time, nor He is a Farmer today. It was around 12-15 years back. Afte few years of Purchase, the Land came in TP and now it is in TP. Today also since so many years, it is Written in 7/12 that the Land is "Non Agriculture". He also got the notice from Government regarding this, that " Government is gonna go in HIgh Court to prove that You were not Farmer while you purchased this land" And its been 6 years since he got the Notice, but till now No Action....
Now my question is,
1. Is this thing viable ?
2. What are the chances that Government can send Notice to him, and acquire back the Land ?
3. Will there be any problem regarding such Land to him ?
4. Can Government do anything after, so many years ?
