mother sur name

jai hind sir, i am ex Sgt of Sir force retired in sep 15. sir, my mother correct name is Normals Singh in every civil documents like aadhar card, voter id card, khasra khatauni. but sir, while submitting application for dependents by mistake I have written my mother name as Nirmala Devi.. in my discharge book my mother name is now Nirmala Devi. sir i asked to my records office to correct sur name but they r telling there is no provision to correct the mother name... sir during police verification it will be problem.... what to do
