Mother deed confusion

Little background:

My dad & uncle got our ancestral property from our grand father. Later they exchanged the property by means of relinquishment deed.

Issue:

My Uncle's family have availed home loan from a bank &  by mistake they have provided mother document of our property ( document from my grand father for our site as this was in name of my uncle initially & later we exchanged). Now how can I get mother deed from bank ?

When the property  was mortgaged with a bank, it is not appropriate to go for any  property transfer, and now if your want to retrieve those documents, u have to clear all dues with the bank.

Thanks for your response. One clarification we already have completed property transfer. But the issue is we did not exchange the documents & my uncle submitted mother deed for our share of property by mistake.

Let me know if I am not clear.

When a property is under lien, any transfer effected on that property is not valid. so u have to clear that lien then u can do the transfer. Till such time u are holding a in valid document.
