Minor's property

I have a land title deed written in Malayalam, which I am unable to read or write in. I showed the title deed to another person and he told me that it is written in it, on the top of the first page, that the "property is bought for me in my mother's name while I was 10 years old". Does this mean that the property is registered in my mother's name? My understanding is that a property cannot be registered in a minor's name. Now I am 34 years old and would like to sell the property. Is it possible for me to act alone and do this now? Am I the full and sole owner of the property now? - Jose

Are you the said minor and said owner of the property?

The minor cannot sell the property.

The property in the name of minor can be sold with consent of court.

If the owner (said minor) was major on date of sale, he/she could sell.

If you are said owner and now major, you can sell.

@ Kumar Doab - Thank you sir for your kind reply.  Yes, I was the said minor above, but I am major now (34 years old).

You are welcome.

You are major and can sell the property that you own and are title holder.
