I have an open terrace attached to my flat. The managing committee wants to charge me maintainence by considering 100%of the terrace area as `carpet area`. By definition carpet area is that which is included within the four walls. I am paying the BMC property taxes seperately
I have 2 questions
1. Can the committee charge maintainence for the open terrace
2. If it can charge, then at what percentage of the terrace area should they be charging and is there any bylaw for the same
