lost original land documents

Need immediate help. I have two plots of land together. One was bought in 1967 and the other was in 1980. Since both the lands are owned by my father so they are later registered under his having one patta no and one daag no. Now the problem is we have lost the sale deed of the land which was bought in 1967. Now when we applied for building construction in this whole plot they objected as we could not produce that land document. What should I do?

1.  Get certified copy of the Land of Records from year 1950 onwards, for the land, from the local Tehsildar's office, which is conclusive proof of ownership of land.

2.  Also file application to the Tehsildar's office, for ceritified copy of registration document of land of year 1967.  Try this would help.
