Loan against property

i have  a non agricultural land of 1 acre in a panchayathi area, can i get loan on that property. it has been converted from agriculture to non agriculture recently

Generally you can get a loan against the land, but each bank will have their own rules with regards to this. I agree with Vinod Passy.
