Lessee name in tax challan, deman notices, tax receipts in corporation

Respected experts,

I'm the owner of a commercial land. I have leased it to a company for long term for their business on monthly rental basis. As per our lease agreement, the lessee company should bear the municipality tax. For last 10 years they have paid tax on my behalf. All challans, demand notices, receipts are given by municipality in my name( owner) and not company's name. Now the company is insisting to change names in municipality records as they are paying tax. There is no such clause in agreement wherein lessee's name can be included in property records in corporation. Do the lessee have any right to get records altered?

There is no such necessity, as the taxes are being paid regularly you need to only issue the receipt for acknowledgement of Taxes in terms of agreement

Payment of property / municipal tax is the liability of landlord lincesor and not tenant licencee.
