A member of the Society filed a case against his kins in Registrar of Cooperative Society in Mumbai. The member also made the Society as a formal party, for which the Society hired a lawyer to represent them. The case has been withdrawn as the dispute between the members have been settled. Can the Society levy the charges /fees charged by the lawyer to Society to the member who made them a formal party. Or will the Society have to bear the legal charges of the lawyer.
