leave & license agreement-period

Hi,

1. Why generally 'Leave & License agreements' are only for 11 months ?

2. Whats the problem, if it is made for 12 months or more?

3. If we have to renew a 'Leave & License agreement' after 11 months time ; Should we execute the new agreeement on the next day itself or after a break of atleast one day ? Why ?

Dear Friend,

There is a difference between terms Lease & Licence, the lease agreeement can be more than 11 months provided u have to do registration of such lease, to avoid registration hassles and fee people made agreement for only 11 months.

A licence can be more than 11 months and it does not require any registration etc.
