Land donation

please help.....we have property of 20 acres which is a pond people that village say my grandfather donated the pond for the village but they dont have any written documents from my grand father as donated can i get the land back if i can what is the procedure?

If your grandfathers name is at ROR you can proceed.

THANQ VERY MUCH SIR......ROR means a registered document of the land in the name of my grand father?if yes then i have to give a notice to the village panchayat or MRO.
