The Karnataka Land Reform Act empowers the Deputy Commissioner to GRANT Converion of land from Agricultural to non agri status.
The DC issues the Coversion orders, however there is a clause in such orders stating
" If this converted land is not used within two years from today for bona fide use, the landconversion shall be deemed to have been revoked / Cancelled."
Can you please advice if the land coversion is vaild even after the two years of the said conversion order being passed. We have done the pachayat kahata even since the conversion and have also been paying our annual property taxes on time.
Is our conversion order still VALID ??
