i have an agriculture land of 1 acre in andhra pradesh,east godavari, gollaprolu mandal, chebrolu village, i want to convert the same for residential purpose. is DTCP approval required for the same or i can convert the same by paying appropriate fee.

You have to check with local advocate, because land conversion and DTCP approval is purely state subject.It differs from state to state, since it is a agricultural land ,i think u have to go through lot of strict formalities to get approval.
