I'd like to know if there is a time limit by which i have to claim the land compensation for any given property if its acquired.. To give a correct picture we bought a land(GPA) in 1991 from the land owner. But half the Land was forest department land and they acquired it. Which we got to know in 2009 because they(forest dept.) put a compound around their area. So my question is if i put a case against the land owner now.. Can i ask for land compensation?
