I have purchase a land in Hosur, Tamil Nadu in May 2007, few months back when i went to Hosur Taluk Office to apply for patta. They have replied stating that it is a Adi Dravidor Land (AD Land), patta cannot be given on your name. It should be buy and sell only between SC/ST. I told him that i am an SC but the person whom i have purchased is not a same community. Kindly help me what is the best remedy for this.

Your case is good one and the provisions of AD land are not applicable in your case and even you are SC. So make a representation again to the registering officer or to the collector of the area and get the required patta.
