Is facebook posting a valid evidence?

Dear Sir,

My wife left along with her parents to a remote village in a hill against my consent where they are having another residence where i never visited and stayed prolnged for more than a year.

I have requested one guy from that village through facebook chatting and enquired about their family status saying that they are keeping hold of their daughter without my consent in Feb 2013.

In June 2013, she filed a DV case that we are not taking her because of dowry demand and claiming maintenance. Is this facebook posting by me a valid evidence since it is made prior to the filing of case to prove her desertion.

Regards

Ibrahim

It can be used as an evidence.  If other side is objected for it then burden lies on you to prove.  How to prove your advocate will do it.

The said guy can be used to stand as a witness. In his absence such chat has no value.
