irretrievable breakdown of marriage

As it is going to create havoc in rural india as well as urban India, it will never get passed in RS/LS until year 2099 or it will be challenged from day 1.

Anyways, SC has given a latest ruling ..........Neelam_Kumar_vs_Dayarani_on_6_July,_2010 which says:- "Can’t use ‘irretrievable breakdown of marriage’ to fault spouse"

Wordings:

If a party to a marriage, by his own conduct brings the relationship to a point of irretrievable breakdown, he/she cannot be allowed to seek divorce on the ground of breakdown of the marriage. That would simply mean giving someone the benefits of his/her own misdeeds.

This citation is going to go a long way even after there comes............. an inauspecious amendment to current grounds of divorce.
