Independence day message

Jai Prakash Narayan had led movement in 1973-74 to have Right to Recall in the hands of citizen so that erring public representatives may be recalled and asked to leave the post without waiting for five years tenure to end. He succeeded in defeating Congress party and uniting all opposition parties to form a government. Janta party was formed and the party came to power also in 1977 defeating Congress Party.

But the supporters of Late Jai Prakash Narayan and the leaders of Janta Party which came to power were so much ambitious and greedy that they started fighting against each other for the sake of powerful post and for earning more and more illegal money. This led to disintegration of Janta Party. In a period of few years several splinter groups formed out of Janta Party which was formed under the guidance of Late Jai Prakash Narayan.

More surprisingly politicians who were fighting against misrule of Congress Party or Indira Gandhi proved more disastrous than Late Indira Gandhi. Many of them like Lalu yadav, Mulayam joined hands with Congress Party to acquire power and to become Minister.

Similarly government came out with Right to Information Act called as RTI act a few years ago which empowers citizen to seek information. Unfortunately this Act became effective tool only for a few persons and still this act is not much popular, much practical and much effective as it was desired to be. Very few people have knowledge about it. Even some of them know how to practically use it they can do nothing only by information until they can use judicial recourse to punish the guilty officers. Ultimately all information has to be submitted before any court of India for justice if the concerned department does not admit their fault. As such judiciary has first to be made more effective, time bound and corruption free

Therefore until judiciary , investigating agencies like CBI, vigilance department, anti corruption bureau and police department is quick, effective and honest no one can dream of justice and corruption free India. This is India where court cases, CBI Cases are not decided even in two or three decades especially when any VIP leader, rich person is involved. Due to this there is no fear of law, no fear of judiciary, no fear of police and no fear of any controlling agency. And until there is fear of punishment in the mind of evil doers, they cannot stop their crime. Human mind is full of greed which leads him towards crime.

.

But the million dollar question is how judiciary can be made honest, quick and effective?

Judiciary also needs the support from the government which controls it and which provide adequate quality manpower, proper security and proper infra structure. It is the politicians who from the power they inherit from their political linkages indirectly affect the quality of judgment. Career movement in the judiciary right from the selection of judges and Chief Justice have also become a money game just as it is in police department or in CBI or even in state run schools and colleges and in all public sector enterprises.

As such it is necessary to first elect a government which is manned by devoted, talented, hard worker and specially those who understand the pain of common men, who give value to humanity and respect God. It is necessary to weed out persons who have unbridled greed and who play in wealth, wine and women. Intoxication of any of W may disturb the society and the peace of mind.

The more important is that the task of purification has to start from top where from the Ganga of polluted water flows.

There are many effective IAS and IPS officers who have done unprecedented work in their area of operation and to whom people respect and worship like their guardian, their leader and finally their God. There are many politicians who have left indelible imprint on their voters by their hard work and extra ordinary love for their voters.

There are many good people in our society. When good people get recognition of their work and sincerity, goodness will grow. When bad people are given importance, badness rises. Therefore it is the duty of all right thinking people to make the system so much strong and effective that it is constrained to give value to goodness and stop giving value to bad people. This may help all in creating a good culture and this may in the long run pave the way to real and only real development, prosperity and real happiness.

True development may come only by true empowerment of good people.

This is a message for all Indians  on Independence Day  who desire to achieve true Independence.

All problems like price rise, unemployment or corruption or misuse of natural resources which India has been facing for last 65 years of independence may be prevented or reduced to bare minimum if people of India understand the power of law and start giving respect to the rule of law.

If a clerk or a top ranked officer, a politician or a minister, Lawyer or CA or any professional and a business man understand that if he or she commits crime he may be taken to task within a short period of time by law enforcing agencies, he or she will definitely will try to abstain from committing any type or crime or indirectly supporting any other in doing evil work.

All efforts have to be made to send a clear message to all citizens of India, rich or poor, powerful or powerless that if they do wrong they will not be spared. It is painful that in India police, CBI, or even judiciary is misused by powerful persons to perpetuate their corrupt practices, their evil works and finally manipulated as per their whims to postpone the punitive action for an indefinite period.

It is very much unfortunate that innocent people die waiting justice or languish in jail praying GOD. AS a consequence good people are afraid of knocking the doors of law enforcing agencies and which in turn again boost up the morale of bad people and thus irrigate and promote crime culture.

It is important therefore to make good laws and rules but it is also equally important to ensure that laws and rules are honestly put into action and all who violates laws and rules are punished without any delay.

Very true and noble thoughts but extremely difficult to implement in the present scenario where the State power of violence, money power and muscle power of the corrupt and vested interests reigns supreme. Unfortunately same things of Jai Prakash Narayan are being repeated by Anna Hazare and Ramdev. They might get the politicians changed but system will remain the same because people have no control over the politicians.
