Respected Sir,
I had booked an under construction flat in Pune in November 2011 and had completed the registration of the property in December 2011. The flat is now ready for possession, and the Builder is starting the formalities in April 2013. However, the Builder is now asking for extra charges in lieu of the increase in Ready Reckoner rates by the Maharashtra state government in 2013. But is this applicable to me, as I had registered the property in my name in 2011 and had paid the Stamp Duty charges and service tax etc. everything which was applicable at that time, although I am getting the possession of the apartment only now? Please advise.
