Increase in charge by airte.

Hello,

Ive been an airtel customer and when I went last time (October) to pay the bill, its found that they have increase the amount. On enquiry, they told that its legal change so they have increased, hence I have to pay.

So I argues that what ever the cause, when you change the price, you have to give the customers option to think; change plan etc.

They mentioned, that on previous months bill its written, somewhere that they are going to change the amount.

This was not there on thie website, neithet they called and informed, nor they told when sending bill message in mobile.

Is it legally sufficient, an information to change the tariff?

The funniest thing is that, this new tariff plan is not in their plan at all.. They have a better plan for the same price (sad part too).

is it legally possible to sue them?

( I believe that this is applicable to all airtel customers in bangalore)

Regards

Hari.

Submit pointwise complaint in writing under proper acknowledgment to Nodal Officer and escalate to Appellate Officer of the company.Narrate your visit to Airtel Office and thqat no complaint number was issued to you despite your asking for it.

Obtain some response in writing before you act further.
