Respected Sir,
I came to know that one of my friend(MUSLIM FEMALE ) had a problem that her husband (MUSLIM) is going for 2nd marriage. She wants to stop the 2nd marriage of her husband legally. Is there any way to stop her husband?

Difficult but she should try. File a suit for permanent injunction and in the suit seek temporary injunction under o.39 R 1&2 for restraining him to marry. If the trial court rejects file civil misc. Petition in high court. There are some judges who would like to stop bigamy on the ground it violates woman's right to live decently and come to her rescue irrespective of the personal law permitting polygamy. Must require prudent advocate.
