How to get a divorce decree after 15 years of divorce with m

My wife was divorced in 2001 by a way of a notarised document for divorce with consent. Its been 15 years now since then. Now we applied for her passport and the passport office is asking to submit a divorce decree. How can we get a divorce decree when it's been 15 years and how long will it take to for this procedure in Gujarat State.

Ur so called notarised document is illegal. You can be charged u.s. 376 ipc. You are still legally married to ur wife. U need to file application u.s. 13b of Hindu marriage Act 1955. You'll get it in 6 months time.

That notarized document is invalid as divorce can be got only through Court.
