Hi all, would like to know procedure and forms which need to be filled to get license to sell seeds, fertilizer,insectiside and pesticides in uttar pradesh. kindly reply at earliest.

Secion 13 o the Insecticide At 1968 reads; Any person desiring to manufacture or to sell, stock or exhibit for sale or distribute any insecticide, or to undertake commercial pest control operations with the use of any insecticide may make an application to the licencing officer for the grant of a licence:

Apply to the Licensing Officer.

The proper procedure is first approaching the concerned Association or persons in the same business and also District Agriculture dept.  You can also file application to SPIO, o/o of District Agricultural officer and seek information under RTI as follows:

1)Please provide me the copy of  procedure and requirements as per the existing laws on obtaining Fertilizer retaling trading (including licence)
