I have a 2 bhk flat in a cooperative housing society and with the society's permission I have started a hostel / homestay there, which is a residential premises, where we have foreigners and Indians coming and staying on daily or weekly basis and we charge a nominal per bed charges
In 1 room we have total of 6 beds which bunk beds 3 + 3
I have a shop & establishment license and form C from FRRO
Recently I received a notice from BMC under section 394 stating to shut down the activity as they say it requires a health license whereas we don't have a kitchen or GAS in there.
I tried applying a health license but they say you need to have a commercial property to receive a health license
I enquired with few people they said you are in residential premises, so it is said to be a PG and for PG you don't need health license
Please can any 1 help me or guide me with this
What do I do ?
