Guarantor Rights

I have the following query. Mr x takes loan from the bank by mortgaging his flat and mr y stood guarantor for loan in a bank called abc bank. Mr y has his own separate business and his property is mortgaged to another bank ref to as bank of india for the conduct of his own business with bank of india. Mr x loan goes bad he pays his dues to ghe bank by selling his property and paying off. Some dues are yet pending For balance dues can abc bank attach a property of the guarantor mr y which is already mortgaged to some other bank.

But the property of the gurantor is mortgaged to some other bank....not the complainant bank....what happens in this case...
