We have purchased land in 90s through Mr X, who got land through tenancy act. He along with his brothers formed a Hindu undivided family and found a GPA to plot the land and sell. The GPA due to some reasons went abroad and before going appointed his father to do the plotting and be the GPA as he had the powers to appoint in his absence. The GPAs father sold (plots) via with power of orignal GPA and transferred GPA and by getting a permit from developing authority of state. After the plots has been sold to us, the orignal owner expired and hence the owners wife filed a partition deed with brothers and approach a local court and hence was given few acres from the total area owned by Mr X.Now for 17 yrs we are the land owners of the plot, but this lady along with new GPA given to a local History sheeter, has somehow managed to put her name after us in the EC by changing the layout of our plots and liaising with SRO of the local Mandal claiming our plots as hers by saying some agreement was done between the then GPA and Mr X, hence claiming our plots as their own. We are not able to sell as the name in the EC is coming on the wife of the Mr X.
