Hi,
I had applied for CAT and my exam was scheduled on 13 th October 3:15 pm and conducted by Prometric centers. I reached there on 2:48 but I was not allowed to sit because they said I am 3 minutes too late.
All other candidates had been admitted. There was ample time to check my credentials like Valid Id proof and let me in. But I was not, As a result I have lost one year other than money and effort that went in preparing for the exam. Since that day I am pleading Prometric centers but to no avail.
Please note that It was mentioned on the card that candidates must appear 1.5 hours prior to exam time. This is just a guideline and they as per there own words allowed candidates till 2:45 pm.
The only reason that prohitted any candidate to not sit for exam was the failure to produce a Valid Id proof.
With these facts, can some body please let me know whether I can take prometric center to consumer court.
