My uncle who was unmarried(bachelor)died recently.He has a property( Self acquired) in bangalore.He is survived by his mother and 2 brothers who are married with children.Now with his death certificate they are planning to get legal heir certificate issued by thasildar(tamil nadu) stating that his mother is the legal heir.
Now my uncle's mother insists that I buy the property. Can u please suggest what are the documents required to buy the property. Will his mother be the only legal heir or his brothers also will be legal heir.Can I buy the property and be legally secure.What all documents I should secure from them and procedures to be followed before I buy this property.Also Can i transfer this property in my name through gift deed as she happens to be my father's cousin sister.
