Maintainable Registers under S & C E Act

Can an employer maintain all registers under the act in soft copies. If yes, what is the procedure to take permission from the authority.

Does an employer need to take permission statewise if he has his branch offices more than one state.

Will this permission be enough for minimum wages act or employer need to take separate permission to maintain registers under minimum wages act.
