Agreements

Agreement is when two persons consent on the same thing in the same sense. It is composed of an offer from one side and acceptance from another - accompanied with some consideration. Contract on the other hand is an agreement enforceable by law. 

It is normally said that parties make an agreement - but law makes the contract. An agreement may be enforceable or unenforceable - the former is called contract. All agreements made by 

i) Competent Parties;

ii) Sound Mind Major;

iii) for valid Consideration; 

iv) Not expressly declared to be void. 

ARE ENFORCEABLE.

Agreements can be oral as well as documented - Agreements are usually made on 100 Rs. Stamp paper
