hi.
In state excise dept (andhra pradesh)
could some one please tell me the classes of officers below is they belong to class 1 or 2 accordong to govt of india . please explain clearly.
S.I (sub inspector)
C.I (circle inspector)
A.E.S (Assitant Excise Superintendant)
E.S (Excise Superintendant)
A.C( Asst Commioner)
D.C (deputy commsioner)

only S.I. is class 2 remaining all class 1

thank u for the reply. but i read somewhere C.I also belongs to class 2 officer. that was my confusion. now can't find the page online where i read it. is there any official website or any link online which gives this details. please post details regarding state excise (andhra pradesh) and not central excise . i dont know if it makes any difference or not. thanx in advance

i want to have clarity on this b/c i want to know if i'm eligible for OBC non creamy layer certificate or not.
so please some giveme some official source or link where i can find out for sure
